They say that the failure rate in network marketing is as high as 90%.In this short article I want to give a few reasons as to why it is so and to educate the reader to avoid being a failure by entering in to the industry with a realistic understanding as to the true nature of online network marketing industry.
Network marketing is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing industries in the world today as it is one industry that thrives during recessions and economic downfalls.
Unfortunately however, this industry is being promoted and advertized by those so called “experts” in the industry as something like a jackpot, a lottery or some kind of a get rich quick scheme, giving facts and figures as to how they came from rags to riches in no time.
But according to true business magnates like Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki towards whom the business world turn for advice, Network Marketing is a way of life. It is an art or a set of skills that has to be gradually developed and mastered with the dedication and determination of a martial artist or sports professional. Money will of course begin to flow in to your account in hoards as you move forward. But your concentration and focus should be on self development and mastery and not on making money.
A truly successful networker is a seasoned professional who does not have to use deceptive ways such as 70% to 80% price reductions, bonuses worth 20 times the price and “buy today or pay more” pressure techniques to market his/her products or services.

Let us examine some of the essential pre-requisites one should possess in order to enter in to the arena of network marketing and reach success in an ethical and a proper manner.

In my opinion, good language skills is a prime necessity for someone who ventures in to online network marketing as it is a communication based industry. If you are not proficient in at least one language, either you begin to develop the skill before you enter the industry or be prepared to spend the time, energy and money to develop that skill after you join the industry. Be warned however, that it could be frustrating for you to let others by-pass you while you are developing your pre-requisites.
In conclusion of this article, I would say that becoming a successful professional online network marketing strategist is a life changing pursuit of empowering oneself which needs proper guidance and direction of a dedicated instructor and a mentor who can cause your inner self to be transformed in to a new, empowered personality with new core values and a new life style.
